Zooplankton indicator workshop, 11 may 2016, Bergen (Zoo6)!
le mercredi 11 mai 2016The Workshop on “Use of Zooplankton Indicators to Characterize State of Pelagic Ecosystems” will be part of the ICES/PICES 6th Zooplankton Production Symposium 10-13 May 2016, in Bergen, Norway. The workshop is planned as a one-day activity on May 11, 2016. It will provide a forum for the discussion of three related topics: zooplankton changes - causes and indicator potential, impacts of zooplankton changes on ecosystems, including future scenarios, and the use of zooplankton indicators for marine policy applications. Plans for the agenda include:
- Presentations from participants
- Discussion sessions after each topic
- Panel discussion and roundtables on synthesis effort and comparative analyses across different ecosystems
